President
Patrick Connor is the President of Director’s Choice Tour & Travel. He served as Executive Vice President from 1996 until assuming his current role.
Mr. Connor is active in the student travel industry, and has presented multiple educational sessions on topics including student safety, student travel 101, and industry best practices. In addition, he has worked with numerous destinations to assist them in identifying and promoting student friendly events and activities. Patrick is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for the Student Youth Travel Association (SYTA).
Prior to his involvement with Director’s Choice, Patrick was a band director in Texas, and remains active as a performing musician, clinician, and drill writer.

Director of Sales
Robin Rector is the Director of Sales for Director's Choice Tour & Travel and has served as a member of the Director's Choice team since the company's inception. Prior to that, Ms. Rector held various positions in the Frenship Independent School District in Wolfforth, TX.

Director of Business Development
Gary Rector is the Director of Business Development for Director's Choice Tour & Travel. He has been with Director's Choice since 2001. Prior to that, Gary owned a Home Health Agency for 14 years. Gary oversees all new and emerging markets and products for the Company. He is married to Robin Rector and they have two children, Lauri and Jonathan. Gary is an avid music lover and plays bass guitar in the band, West of Eden.

Mr. Anthony retired from teaching in May of 2000 after 35 years of teaching in Texas. Mr. Anthony has taught in Littlefield, Clarendon, Lubbock, and Frenship. His bands at Coronado High School in Lubbock were UIL Sweepstakes winners for 27 years. The Coronado Band, under his direction, performed at the Midwest Band & Orchestra clinic in Chicago. His Coronado Bands were also named “Outstanding Concert Band” at the Greater Southwest Music Festival in Amarillo, and the “Field Champion” at the Sun Bowl Marching Band Contest in El Paso. His Coronado Band was also a finalist in the Fiesta Bowl Marching Contest in Phoenix, Arizona.
Mr. Anthony recently served on the board of directors of the Texas Bandmasters Association, having served as President for 1993-94. Mr. Anthony is also a charter member of the Texas Adjudicators Association and holds membership in Phi Beta Mu, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Phi Mu Alpha. He has directed numerous All-Region bands in Texas and New Mexico and adjudicates both marching and concert contests in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Since his retirement from active teaching Mr. Anthony, along with three other Texas music educators, founded Director’s Choice Inc., a corporation devoted to the development of educational services for public school bands, orchestras, and choirs.
Since the summer of 1997, Phil Anthony has been the conductor of the Westwinds Brass Band, a community brass band in Lubbock, Texas.

Sarah is a proud Lubbock native and a graduate of Coronado High School where she participated in the Coronado Chorale and Scarlet Fever and where she was named a member of the Texas All-State Mixed Choir for two years. Upon graduation in 2000, she was awarded the Bill Cormack Scholarship from Texas Music Educators Association to pursue a degree in Vocal Music Education. Always a Red Raider at heart, she graduated from Texas Tech University in 2006 where she performed with the Texas Tech University Choir, the Madrigal Singers, and acted as a Stage Manager and Assistant Director of several mainstage musical productions and operas by the Texas Tech Department of Music Theater. Sarah has also been a soloist for and member of The Lubbock Chorale, and has been a member of the Dallas Symphony Chorus under the direction of David R. Davidson.
Sarah has traveled extensively. She has performed in the Cambridge University college chapels of England as well as in Winchester Cathedral and in Evensong services of St. Paul’s Cathedral, in London. She has performed in Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles, and in the National Cathedral in Washington DC. In addition to her choral performing experience she has lived in both Norway and China, and has spent time in Japan, Denmark, Sweden, and Canada.
Before her employ with Director's Choice Tour & Travel, Sarah taught choir in Plano ISD, Abilene ISD, and Lubbock ISD and has maintained a voice studio since 2003. She is a member of Texas Music Educator’s Association, American Choral Director’s Association, and Texas Choral Directors Association.

Rachel Martin is a Customer Representative for Director's Choice Tour & Travel and has been with the company since July 2004. After graduating from Sweeny High School, she attended Lubbock Christian University and is currently finishing her degree in Organizational Management. She was an active choir member throughout junior high, high school and college. Rachel is the proud mother of her beautiful six-year old daughter Kelsey.

Josh is a Lubbock native and graduated from Lubbock Coronado High School in 1999. He went on to Austin College and graduated with degrees in Business and Religion. He has performed in ensembles the majority of his life including the Coronado Chorale, Scarlet Fever, Austin College A Cappella Choir, AC Consort, and Lubbock Chorale. He has toured all over the world, spending time in Australia, Peru, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, and a variety of locations around the U.S.
Prior to his employment with Director's Choice Tour & Josh served as a Travel pageant consultant, wedding planner, marketing director, Cirque du Soleil chef, missionary advisor, and the list goes on.

Allison was born and raised in Louisiana. Her family moved to Texas, where she graduated from Kingwood High School in 1992. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995. While at Texas Tech, she performed as a member of the Symphonic Band under the direction of James Sudduth, the Symphony Orchestra, and the Goin’ Band. In 1992, Allison was selected to perform with the National Flute Association National Flute Choir in Los Angeles, CA. She enjoys playing flute, traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, and playing with her dog.
Allison is currently a Senior Customer Representative for Director’s Choice in Lubbock, TX. Previously, she was a Band Director for 7 years in the San Antonio and Hill Country areas where her bands were consistent UIL and Festival Sweepstakes winners. She has been a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, National Flute Association, and Goin’ Band Alumni Association.

Director of Information Technology
Trey Caliva began working with Director's Choice Tour & Travel in October 2007. He was born in New Orleans, La., but considers himself a native of San Antonio, where he graduated from William H. Taft High School in 2001.
Trey was a saxophone player and section leader in the "Goin' Band from Raiderland," played with the Court Jesters Basketball Band, and was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi. In addition, Trey wrote columns and served as the Opinions Editor for The Daily Toreador, Texas Tech's student newspaper.
In his free time, Trey enjoys keeping up with politics, photography, and playing the guitar.
