In a ceremony at the Student Youth Travel Association (SYTA) conference in Kissimmee Florida, Director's Choice was named as one of only 7 Active (tour operator) members to have completed the SYTA accreditation process. This is the second consecutive year that Director's Choice has achieved this honor.

For a tour operator to become SYTA accredited, they must meet or exceed industry standards in a number of areas including insurance, quality control, and compliance with seller of travel laws. In addition, Director's Choice performs criminal background checks on all employees that will have direct or indirect contact with student participants.
