"My name is Lucy Mandella and I am the head choir director at Teague Middle School in Humble, TX. Three of my four years of teaching have been at Teague. All three of my years at
Teague, I have used Director's Choice Tour & Travel to plan my end-of-the-year contest and trip. I am writing this letter to highly recommend Director's Choice Tour & Travel
to anyone and everyone who is interested in taking your performing group on a trip!
My first year at Teague, and basically fresh out of college, I was very nervous and skeptical about taking my choir on an out of town trop. I was totally unaware of the process, and
had no idea all the things that it would entail. At TCDA before my first year at Teague, I stopped by the Director's Choice Tour & Travel booth just out of curiosity. I spoke with
Allison Turner. She was extremely patient with me, making sure that she answered all of my questions and helped me to understand every tiny detail involved. After she (and the entire
staff) put me at ease, I took the plunge and planned my first trip!! Everything about the entire experience was amazing. Director's Choice Tour & Travel made everything so easy
for me... from invoices, to emails, to phone calls, and letters... Director's Choice Tour & Travel took me through every step. Finally the big day was here. When my students and I
arrived at our performance site, the representatives immediately greeted me and got us set on our way. Everything was already set up for us and we had everything we needed. All I had
to do was hand them my music and get my kids on the stage! I was truly impressed with all of the staff, the performance venue, the judges, and the awards ceremony. Everyone and everything
exceeded my expectations. I knew it had been a successful trip when I had both students and parents telling me how smoothly everything went and how much of a great time they had!
Since my first year, I have used Director's Choice Tour & Travel without fail. They make my job easy, and also fun!! It is so nice to go to one of these festivals and just enjoy
being there with my kids instead of worrying about the way things are running. I have never been disappointed with any aspect of Director's Choice Tour & Travel. I will continue to
use Director's Choice Tour & Travel for as long as I am teaching.
